VOLKSWAGEN – OPENING DRIVE

A CONCERT OF BRANDS

The reopening of the Volkswagen Group Forum in Berlin celebrates the diversity of the Volkswagen company’s brands.

And how could such an event be more appropriately celebrated than with a concert of brands? Accompanied by a classical orchestral piece by the DJ, musician and producer Henrik Schwarz, 12 vehicle brands drive virtually into the brand boxes reserved for them. Each of their voices is expressed by a single instrument played live during the brand’s entrance – culminating in a Stradivari solo by star violinist Iskandar Widjaja.

The concert represents the opening production following the panel discussion moderated by Barbara Schöneberger with guests Sigmar Gabriel, Michael Müller and Prof. Dr. Dr. Martin Winterkorn.

As Volkswagen’s new “marketing director,” Robbie Williams marks the climax of the Group Forum opening with his only live gig in Germany this year in front of the 800 invited guests.
